You will be able to leave your luggage there and visit the city center which is within 15 min. walk. Unfortunately no access to offices will be possible. There will be internet connection via eduroam wireless service.

The bus will start at 6 p.m. sharp and make a stop at Krakow Airport at approximately 6:30 p.m. The details of the meeting point, etc. will be sent later.

If your plane arrives later than 6 p.m. you might consider arriving one day earlier and staying one night in Krakow, or continue the journey by regular bus services to Zakopane. You will need approximately 1 hr to reach the bus terminal (see below), and approximately 2.5 hrs to get to Zakopane by bus. There are many buses to Zakopane (e.g. "Szwagropol" bus company time table, or "Szwagropol" web page, see also a complete time-table for June 20), the last one departing at 10:15 p.m. For most recent time-table please consult the timetable of the bus terminal (click on "Krakow departures", in a pop-up window check "Z MDA Krakow" (meaning from Krakow Bus Terminal), chose Zakopane in the dialog box, chose day (Dzien, note that June is Czerwiec in Polish) and hour (Godzina) and pres Szukaj, meaning search).

Airport taxi service provides quick, flat rate connections to the city center. There is also regular bus service (#292 or #208) to the bus terminal, that takes, however 45-50 min. A number of mini bus services is also available.
After arriving in Zakopane take a taxi to "Geovita", ul. Wierchowa 4, 34-500 Zakopane, tel: +48 18 206 60 41, tel: +48 695 377 718 (reception). You can also walk, see section In Zakopane below.

IMPORTANT

Note that the Krakow airport undergoes massive construction works. At the time of writing this info arrival hall has been moved to a big tent at domestic terminal T2 (see map). If you will need to spend some time at the airport before catching the conference bus we recommend that you walk (or take a shuttle) to terminal T1 (departures) where a number of cafes and and a restaurant is located. There is also a free airport internet access.

Train connections between Krakow airport and city center are suspended until late 2015.
