November 2-4, 2007
Kraków, Poland

The aim of the conference is to encourage informal discussion and the exchange of expertise between scientists using the concepts of random graphs and complex networks in various areas of research ranging from fundamental physics: gravity, information theory, complexity theory to applied research: biophysics, quantitative finance, risk assessment, telecommunication and epidemics.

The conference is organized by Mark Kac Centre for Complex Systems Research at the Jagellonian University and the Institute of Theoretical Physics of the University of Leipzig and sponsored by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, the ESF COST action and the EU projects: COCOS and ENRAGE.
