Workshop on Low x Physics2001
June 27 - 30, 2001, Krakow, POLAND

Purpose
The aim of the workshop is to encourage informal and fruitful discussions between experimentalists and theorists
on new results, hot topics and open problems in low x physics and diffraction at HERA, the Tevatron and beyond.
It will also provide a forum for discussion of the opportunities for low x physics at RHIC.

History
The Low x Workshop grew out of the working group in the subject for the 91/92 HERA study at DESY and has
met almost every year since then: Saclay (1994), Cambridge (1995), Durham (1996), Madrid (1997), Berlin (1998),
Tel Aviv (1999), Oxford (2000).

Topics
    - DIS at small x and structure functions of the proton, photon and Pomeron;
    - diffractive events and the problem of the Pomeron;
    - investigation of hadronic final states;
    - photoproduction and DIS at low Q**2;
    - vector meson production;
    - prospects in hard photon-photon physics;
    - other hot topics (open to suggestions).

Organizing Committee
    Fernando Barreiro (Madrid)
    Andrzej Bialas (Krakow)
    Robin Devenish (Oxford-ZEUS)
    Jan Kwiecinski (Krakow)
