General Information

XXXIII ISMD is a small conference of a series started in 1970 in Paris and devoted to the yearly summary of most interesting results concerning the processes of multiple production of hadrons.

The last conferences of this series were held in Tihany, Hungary (2000), Datong, China (2001) and Alushta, Ukraine (2002). During 6 days of conference there are 8 - 10 topical plenary sessions.

There are 80 - 100 participants (by invitation only).

XXXIII ISMD is organized by four institutions based in Krakow, Poland: Jagellonian University (JU), Institute of Nuclear Physics (INP), University of Mining and Metallurgy UMM) and Polish Academy of Arts and Sciences (PAAS).

The site of the conference is M. Smoluchowski Institute of Physics, Jagellonian University, ul. Reymonta 4, Krakow, Poland. The participants will be housed in the University hotels within the walking range from the conference site. The conference starts on September 6 in the morning and ends on September 11 at noon. September 5 is the arrival day. The travel informations will be given later.

The preliminary programme consists of 9 topical sessions. Each session will start with a mini-review and contain 5-10 short talks (20’ including discussion). Participants who wish to give a talk are kindly asked to send a preliminary title to one of the appropriate session conveners. The final decision on including a talk in the program will be taken by session organizers.
 

Conference fee

The conference fee is 500 euro (the form of payment will be given later). It covers the costs of accomodation, meals, social events and proceedings.
