Elastic cross sections for the scattering of 6He projectiles by 208Pb at energies around the Coulomb barrier measured at the Cyclotron Research Center of Louvain la Neuve (Belgium) have been analyzed using a simple analytic expression for the elastic cross section obtained in a semiclassical model. The results are consistent with recent Optical Model calculations.
