We calculate the probability distribution describing the thermal fluctuations of the nuclear shape, using Lublin--Strasbourg Drop (LSD) model for the macroscopic nuclear energies and deformed Woods-Saxon model for the single-nucleonic level densities. Examples of applications are presented in the form of the GDR spectra of hot 46Ti and 216Rn nuclei.
