Experimental Evidence for Quark--Hadron Duality in Spin Structure Function

First results on quark--hadron duality in the spin sector from the HERMES experiment are reported in the range 1.2\le Q2 \le 12 GeV2 and 1\le W2 \le 4 GeV2.
