The reaction \gamma p \rightarrow \pi 0\gamma p has been measured with the TAPS calorimeter at the Mainz microtron facility. This reaction channel provides access to the static magnetic moment of the \Delta +(1232) resonance. Preliminary energy differential cross sections are presented and compared to recent calculations of the \gamma \mskip \thickmuskip p\rightarrow \pi 0\gamma \protect \relax \kern .16667em '\mskip \thickmuskip p reaction.
