Giant Dipole Resonance Studied in Heavy-Ion Reactions at Projectile Energies 6--11 MeV/u

M. Kicinska-Habior, Z. Trznadel, M.P. Kelly, J.P.S. van Schagen, K.A. Snover

High-energy \gamma -ray spectra and angular distributions from 12C+24,26Mg, 12C+58,64Ni and 18O+100Mo reactions at few bombarding energies, between 5 and 11 MeV/u, were measured and analyzed by taking into account complete and incomplete fusion processes and bremsstrahlung emission. The GDR parameters were extracted as a function of the average excitation energy and the bremsstrahlung parameters as a function of (Eproj-Vc)/A.
