Nano-Second Isomers in Neutron-Rich Ni Region Produced by Deep-Inelastic Collisions

Nuclear structure of the doubly magic 68Ni and its neighbors has been studied by spectroscopic techniques. Developing a new instrument isomer-scope, we have measured \gamma rays from nano-second isomers produced in heavy-ion deep-inelastic collisions with great sensitivity.
